Ninii

Ninii is a prolific Nigerian Afropop/Afrobeats/pop singer and performer with a unique style of delivery and smooth vocal range and appeal. She was born in Abia State on September 22, 1992 and has been singing since she was a child. She was inspired by the legendary Whitney Houston whose songs captivated her when she was very young and motivated her to pursue music as a career. A versatile vocalist, Ninii has sung in Church choirs and performed at numerous weddings, birthdays, night clubs, and live shows in Lagos. Her dream is to be one of the best, if not the best afropop artist in the world. She wants to entertain and inspire people around the world with her music.

In April 2019, during a back-up session in a studio in Lagos, Ninii met the enigmatic USA-based singer/songwriter, Yuyu (Joji Dimanu) who became her mentor and helped hone her artistic fervor. Beginning in late 2019, they embarked on a series of studio recordings of songs written and co-produced by Joji Dimanu.

In December 2020 and January 2021, Ninii's first two singles, "Spontaneous" and "Suamu Tintin" were released and have received moderate acclaim. No doubt, Ninii is working her way up the list of Nigeria's hottest female artists. She is set to release more singles between May and December 2021. Her debut album is set for release in early 2022.
